Do you know if lux render accepts blender 2.5 files ? Because Yafaray doesn't...(at least, last time I checked)

The exporter for Blender is Great. Being so, there are a lot of options to learn.
It would take anybody some time to go over the docs, and learn about it, but well worth the time in my opinion.

OK. Drop your python exporter script in the Blender scripts directory. Open a scripts window in Blender. Select menu option "Scripts", and select "update menus".
To get the exporter to come up, select "Render" from the top menu in Blender. The LuxRender option should be in there. It's "not" in "export".

I haven't used 2.54 yet. It should be the pop up window type selector at the bottom left of the main scene window...No?
